I could never have predicted the way that Fresh Grounded Faith would impact our faith community. The event far exceeded any expectation that we had going in. It was well-organized from day one of the planning all the way to the weekend of the conference, and every single interaction with Terrie Bitter and the other FGF staff was filled with grace and love.
Our hearts are still overflowing with gratitude for what God did through the FGF event! We witnessed lives transformed through the messages, prayer, and worship as well as laughter and tears. It was amazing! We are thankful for the opportunity to have worked with many churches across denominations to bring God the glory!
Fresh Grounded Faith is truly One Event. Many Churches. For Every Woman. We hosted Jennifer, Katherine Wolf and Meredith Andrews and WOW! Every word that was spoken was solid Truth and very applicable. All three of them are everyday women striving to live a sold out life to Jesus in all they do. Not just on stage but in their homes, marriages, raising their families and much more. Fresh Grounded Faith is truly a Kingdom-minded event from the start to.... well, I can't say “end” because it's just the beginning for so many at the end of the conference. Through the new life received, recommitments, connecting to small groups and encouragement in their walk with Christ, the impact of this event will continue beyond what we will ever know. No matter which speakers you choose to have at your conference through Fresh Grounded Faith, you will be blessed beyond what you could ever imagine
What can I say about Fresh Grounded Faith Conference? It’s a great, God-honoring experience, through and through. As overwhelming as it was to put on a big conference, FGF staff was with us each step of the way – guide us with what to focus on in each monthly LOT meeting leading up to the Conference, provide encouraging support and answer questions through countless phone calls and emails, and Terrie and Jimmy tirelessly provide practical trainings to volunteer teams. We appreciated the opportunity to work with ladies from various churches through the planning months, and to host the conference “truly as one body in the Lord.” We were deeply encouraged by the truth and examples Jennifer Rothschild, Laura Story, Katherine Wolf, and Shaun Groves brought before us, challenging us to trust and honor God, even in the midst of trials. I continue to hear ladies expressing their appreciation for the FGF conference. Thank you for what you do to unite churches and to expand the Kingdom of God.
This FGF experience has been amazing with many unexpected rewards! I love to plan events and when I said “yes” to this one, I had no idea what God had planned for me, personally, or for the team we put together. God placed the right team leaders in the right positions to carry out His work. When the conference FINALLY arrived, I was so blown away when I saw all the women that were gathered. I was also so deeply touched by the speakers. And I will forever love the FGF staff that supported us all those months beforehand and then Jimmie and Terrie at the conference. What a wonderful team of people to work with. I’ve never felt so supported and understood. Hosting them again in the future will be an honor.
Our prayer was for an event that not only ministered to the women inside the walls of our church, but would also reach deep into the surrounding communities and cities to bring other women and their friends and family that may not have a relationship with Jesus. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff of Fresh Grounded Faith, the amazing staff and talent.
Jesus took center stage the whole weekend! Jennifer and Dr. Phil Rothschild, Laura Story, Karen Abercrombie, and Michael O'Brien made sure that all eyes were on Him. We were thrilled to have 12 co-host churches working together on this conference and we’re very hopeful that a new trend of Kingdom-focused cooperation among many Christian denominations will continue in West Michigan. The Fresh Grounded Faith team, Terrie and Jimmy, in particular, were very organized, positive, flexible, helpful, and relationally engaged. It feels like I’ve got some new siblings to enjoy! I‘ve led women’s conferences before, but this one was exceedingly organized and delightful. On top of that, we had an awesome number of first-time commitments, fresh starts in Christ, and Compassion International kids sponsored! Glory!
I can't say enough about the conference itself! From beginning to end it is a class act. Once `{`Terrie`}` rolls into town the conference just rolls along and she makes sure all of the details fall into place. It is a beautiful expression of how the body of Christ should work- each person using their giftedness to pull off something together that they couldn't do alone. Theresa, Jennifer, and Phil are delightful to work with. Their hearts are huge for the lost and their graciousness to the volunteers and hosting church are a refreshing blessing. I feel empowered to do other kingdom work through the experience and knowledge gained while executing this conference.
After several years of hosting women's events within our church, we felt God leading us to reach out beyond our local community, but did not know where to begin. From the moment we learned about FGF and spoke with the team, I knew they had the vision and experience to enable us to expand our ministry. One of the biggest blessings of our relationship with FGF was the ability to partner with other churches in our region, who shared the common bonds of loving God, studying His Word, and being inspired by the Spirit-filled teaching of Jennifer Rothschild.
OH. MY. GOODNESS. Fresh Grounded Faith was so much more than a conference. FGF was a gift to us and our local churches. Volunteer teams from so many different churches became friends and worked together with laughter and hugs and they just really meshed together in Jesus’ name to prepare this place for God to move… and HE DID. Beautiful things unfolded and there are just no words to describe it. This is a team truly serving and honoring God.
The structure of Fresh Grounded Faith brought 11 churches, both small and large, together to reach out to our community. It was fun, well-organized and had something for everyone!
Bringing FGF to our region was one of the best kingdom focused events that our church had ever been a part of. Being able to work together with other churches was not only a great way to make new friends, but was a great reminder that our ministry should always be working together with other churches to build HIS Kingdom. The FGF Conference and the months planning up to it will be life changing and an experience you will never forget. I'm sure, like myself, you are considering this as an outreach in your area. Make no mistake, YOUR life will be challenged and changed in many ways....guaranteed!!!!
